Tracey Amick Peer joined the Atlanta News First team in August of 2025. You can watch her weekdays at 5 and 6 pm.
After graduating from Mississippi State University, she started her news career as a morning anchor in Jonesboro, AR, at KAIT, then worked as a reporter and anchor in Charleston, SC at WCSC, Live 5 News, and most recently spent time at the NBC affiliate in Atlanta.
She grew up in a military family (her father was a USMC fighter pilot) and has lived in many places, like South Carolina and Japan, but was raised in New Orleans, Louisiana.
